A beautiful quality gilt metal and enamel singing bird box circa 1930 dating to the Art Deco period . It carries the initial KG to the base of the box which represents the renowned maker Karl Griesbaum of Germany. Depicting continental scenes of classical landscapes and buildings in vibrant enamel colours with engine turned borders . The multicoloured feathers on the bird are in excellent original condition and the box has been completely overhauled and carries a three year guarantee with paperwork. These alternation objects were made for entertainment in the period .
