Japanese Mixed Metal And Bronze Vase. 1868-1912
A very decorative and large size mixed metal and bronze vase from the Meiji period. This stylish large vase has a fluted top and is decorated with a climbing prunus tree branch having a full Okimono bird of prey perched on the stump of the tree , silvered with gold decorated feet and beak . The body of the vase is deep green patented bronze.
